The International Energy Agency (IEA), an intergovernmental entity “committed to shaping a secure and sustainable energy future for all,” released a broad 10 point plan to reduce oil consumption in the wake of Vladimir Putin’s energy-sector-disrupting war in Ukraine.
The plan, which also proposes a reduction in speed limits and 3 days of home work per week, professes to reduce global oil consumption by up to 2.7 million barrels per day if implemented.
After Russia’s attack on Ukraine, our new Plan shows how to ease oil market strains & reduce pain from high prices.

Some have been critical that work from home would actually increase energy consumption.
